Photos
Photos are processed temporarily to identify an item and generate a recommendation. We do not save uploaded photos in our application database or permanent file storage, and the application discards the photo after analysis.
Anonymous scan analytics
We store item-analysis results such as the item, category, condition, recommendation, value estimate, selected country or general region, currency, language, and listing actions. These records use randomly generated scan and session IDs and are used to understand usage and improve the service. We do not intentionally attach names, email addresses, precise location, device identifiers, or uploaded photos to scan records.
Early access
If you join Early Access, your name and email address are stored in a separate contact table. We do not automatically connect that contact information to anonymous scan records.
Infrastructure records
Our hosting, security, analytics, and service providers may process limited technical information, such as IP addresses or request logs, for security, reliability, fraud prevention, and service operation. For that reason, we do not claim every part of the service is completely anonymous.
Your questions and requests
You may contact us with privacy questions or a request concerning your information using the contact method published by Get Rid of This. Because scan records are not connected to your identity, we may not be able to locate a specific scan without its scan ID.
